Responsibilities     

Provide assistance and support for the safety of our assisted living and independent living residents.

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Assists with meal preparation and seating

• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy

Personal & Professional Ability

• Selected person for this position must have a nurturing and caring heart and willingness to protect residents

• Selected person must be patient with residents

• Selected person must be able to work with others

• Selected person must be able to leave personal issues at home

• Selected person must be compassionate and have a positive attitude

• CPR/First Aid, a must

• Experience working with older and disabled adults who could be demented 

• Ability to bend, stoop, carry, and lift light to moderate items

• Must be able to assist with mobility support and transfer assistance

Requirements

• Level II background

• CPR / First Aid

• Blood borne pathogens

• Physical stating you are free from communicable disease and tuberculosis. Click here for form

• In-services (Alzheimers, DNRO, Abuse, Assistance with self-administration of medication and others).  If you do not have these trainings inquire with our administrator to find our where you can have them done.
